Arsenic albumin is usually prescribed for various symptom-based illnesses.  A homeopathic drug called Arsenicum Album 30 has been the subject of controversy after several states proposed prophylactic use against Covid-19.

Even in India, where there is no drug protocol against Covid-19, people are flocking to homeopathic clinics to buy arsenic albums, sometimes selling them at three times the price.  Even local chemists began to stockpile this drug.

Arsenic albumin is considered to correct inflammation in the body.  It cures diarrhea, cough and runny nose.  Homeopaths use it for anxiety, restlessness, colds, ulcers, burning pains.
Research for Homeopathy The scientific advisory board of the Central Council in India has opined that "arsenic album can be taken as prophylactic against 30 coronavirus infections".  It is recommended to take on an empty stomach for three days and repeat the dose after one month if the outbreak continues locally.

Arsenicum has listed album 30 as a homeopathic solution.  “Arsenicum album 30, taken once daily on an empty stomach for three days.

Listing arsenic album in homeopathic treatment.  It was used to prevent homeopathy during epidemics of cholera, Spanish influenza, yellow fever, scarlet fever, diphtheria, typhoid, etc.

The WHO has no guidelines for the use of arsenic album as a Covid-19 treatment.  But "it does not prove that there is no evidence," WHO chief scientist Dr Soumya Swaminath told the Indian Express.

With no clinical trials or large-scale studies to scientifically validate arsenic album 30 as a preventative drug, the widespread demand has led some homeopaths to consider it.

Arsenicum album 30 is one of several homeopathic treatments based on respiratory illness and existing use of drugs for influenza.
It is mentioned here that each person responds individually to homeopathic medicines and one medicine cannot be universally prescribed for everyone.
